In our latest article, we explore an interesting experiment: kindergartners outperforming MBA students in a challenge to build the tallest structure with spaghetti sticks and a marshmallow. The kids, unlike the MBA students, dived right in – experimenting, making mistakes, learning, and iterating. Their playful, experimental approach led them to success, and in this story, we find a powerful lesson for embracing AI in the not-for-profit sector.
In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, we’re frequently faced with unfamiliar tools and challenges – much like a bunch of spaghetti sticks and a marshmallow. The kindergartner’s method – a fearless willingness to experiment and learn – is exactly the approach we need when dealing with AI. It’s about moving from “What if we could use AI to cut costs, save time, and increase our impact?” to “How can we use AI to do this?”
